Hi! I’m Graham, and I started Quirky Penguin with a simple idea: ice cream should never be boring – especially on the most memorable days of your life.

I’ve always loved playing with flavours, mixing the unexpected, and seeing how food brings people together. But what really gets me excited? Turning someone’s story, ideas, favourite drink (or inside joke!) into a flavour they never forget.

That’s why Quirky Penguin is all about bespoke. We create handcrafted ice cream for weddings, events and parties – including vegan and dairy-free options – but with a twist: you can co-create a totally unique flavour through our Flavour Journey experience.

We’ve made ice creams inspired by childhood puddings, favourite cocktails, and even honeymoon destinations. Some couples want a flavour for each of their initials. Some companies want something on-brand. Some just want to be surprised.

And yes, we still serve classic favourites too, which are always made from great ingredients, and always served with a smile (and probably a ridiculous penguin joke).

We’re based in Reading and love working across weddings, corporate events, launch parties, and all kinds of celebrations.
